The main areas of study in the AFSP are consular, political, economic, public diplomacy, leadership development and area studies.
Who teaches in AFSP?
ADA has attracted visiting professors from the following institutions: The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy, Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, The George Marshall European Center for Security Studies, The College of Europe, The Diplomatic Academy of Vienna, The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MGIMO, Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security and Institute of South Korea. Partnership arrangements are being negotiated with many more schools.
What is the ADA Distinguished Attache Award?
At the end of each year, the best of AFSP participants are selected to receive ADA Distinguished Attache Award. Recipients learn the skills of diplomacy in a high-level, real world environment, working in Azerbaijani diplomatic missions around the globe as well as non-government organizations. The ADA Distinguished Attache Award covers all travel and living expenses.
