Overview
Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) is pleased to announce the launch of a new Certificate Program for Foreign Diplomats focusing on Azerbaijan and the Caspian Basin region. The certificate program is tailored to meet the particular needs of foreign diplomats already stationed in or expected to be posted to Azerbaijan in the near future.
Courses offered
The week-long program offers a comprehensive pool of intensive courses and interactive discussion sessions with represenatives from private sector and high-ranking Azerbaijani officials from various ministries and state agencies including Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It provides a wide variety of analytical modules ranging from: 1) history and culture; 2) politics and sociology; 3) economics; 4) foreign policy and security; 5) energy and environment.

Faculty
Courses are taught by ADA’s full time professors, as well as practitioners from the government agencies, international organizations and local think-tanks. In addition, the participants will have an opportunity to meet and network with their Azerbaijani counterparts and other foreign diplomats in Azerbaijan. Study tour will be hosted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan at the end of program.
Participants will gain valuable insights and firsthand knowledge about intertwined and complex relationships that exist among the Caspian Basin states and expand their expertise about regional affairs.
Certificate
Upon completion of the program, the participants will be issued a certificate of participation by the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy.
Fees
The program fee of the Caspian Basin Studies program is 1000 AZN.
