Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Affairs (MADIA)

MADIA is a two-year master's degree in international affairs. Designed for both Azerbaijani and international students, the program explores political, social and economic issues across several disciplines. The coursework allows students to understand current international issues from a perspective that values both the past and the future.

The curriculum of MADIA has been designed to prepare professionals in international affairs and diplomacy to understand the complexity of global affairs. In order to gain practical knowledge and experience, the program strongly encourages an internship that is usually performed during summer after the first year of the study. At the same time, MADIA students have the opportunity to participate in workshops, conferences and summer schools conducted by ADA.
