Javid Valiyev

Javid Valiyev earned his master’s degree in International Relations from Gazi University in Turkey (2006) and currently pursues his PhD studies in International Relations with Ankara Unıvesıty.  Between 2005 and 2009, Valiev worked as a research fellow at the Center for National Security and Strategic Studies (TUSAM) and Center for International Relations and Strategic Analysis Studies (TURKSAM).  His publications include numerous academic and analytical articles for Turkish language journals and newspapers.  His teaching and research interests cover international relations, international security and international law, Turkey’s domestic politics and foreign policy, and post-Soviet politics.
