Nikola Zeljković

Nikola Zeljković graduated from the Political Science department with specialization in European Studies from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.  The topic of his thesis was “Where are the Borders of Europe” with a focus on Turkey and the Caucasus.  He has also studied in the Czech Republic as an exchange student.  Currently, Nikola works as an international fellow in the regional office at the Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC) in Tbilisi, Georgia.  Prior to his work at CRRC, Nikola was Vice-Chairperson of the International Association for Political Science Students (IAPSS) and an intern at the Edyth Stein Foundation in Poland.  Also, Nikola is a member of different professional bodies, such as the International Political Science Association and International Studies Association.  He has been speaker at annual ISA conferences in New Orleans and Montreal, as well as at the Russian Political Science Congress and a conference on geopolitics in Moscow.  Also, he was a speaker at Tarras Shevchenko University in Kiev.  Nikola's research interests also include the geopolitics of Eurasia, a field in which he aims to become an expert.
