ADA University's green and smart campus is the first of its kind in the region. The campus consists of five buildings: the Library, the Student Center, the School of Public and International Affairs, the School of Business and the Welcome Center.
It seems fitting that this state-of-the-art facility is located in Baku, a city whose name is derived from the “City of Winds.” Our goal is to pioneer and promote alternative and environmentally friendly sources of energy in Azerbaijan and the broader region.
The green campus showcases alternative energies by relying heavily on geothermal heating and cooling. “Green roofs” keep buildings cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter. Two-thirds of energy for heating and cooling is produced from a geothermal field with 290 bore holes, each at 130-meter depth.
Additionally, the campus was built in accordance with criteria of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), the first of its kind in our region.
ADA University's campus opened in September of 2012. It is located in Dede Gorgud Park in downtown Baku. Campus Tours
