Interest of research and teaching: impact of venture capitals on sustainability of new technology based startups, innovative entrepreneurship, effectiveness of technology transfer mechanisms.
Odiljon Abdurazzakov is an Adjunct Professor of Innovation and New Business Ventures in the School of Business. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from Colorado State University. He has gained nearly ten years of experience in the government and private sectors in the United States and Uzbekistan including Executive Director’s Office (EDO) at Colorado Department of Revenue, Corporate Sales Division of T-Mobile and the State Committee of Uzbekistan on Competition and Support of Entrepreneurship. Mr. Abdurazzakov worked as consultant in a number of international research projects, including a research project on “Improving the Legislation of Uzbekistan on Intellectual Property Rights Protection” sponsored by the Organization for Cooperation and Security in Europe (OSCE).
Mr. Abdurazzakov is currently a visiting scholar at Harvard University and is conducting an independent PhD in Entrepreneurship. Mr. Abdurazzakov heads the Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Research (CEDR), a non-profit organization which trains young entrepreneurs and consults small and medium businesses.
