On July 20-30, Advanced Foreign Service Program (AFSP) started its second “Caspian Basin Studies” course for 14 Latin American diplomats. 

During the 10 day course, the participants learned about the history of the Caspian region, legal status of the Caspian sea, geopolitics of the region, investment opportunities, conflict resolutions among other topics.

The participants also visited Sanqachal terminal, Quba, Qobustan and other cultural spots of the country.
