Events and Projects
Each year, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy conducts a Workshop of PhDs and PhD candidates. The event is held at ADA in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The annual PhD Workshop is designed to:
- enhance the knowledge about Azerbaijan in the scholarly world
- establish a permanent venue for academic debate at ADA
- stimulate interaction among Azerbaijani and international scholars
- build cooperation and share experiences and insights on research and teaching methods as part of the educational reforms being conducted in Azerbaijan
- reverse the brain drain and attract PhDs back to Azerbaijan and ADA
The past events have been successful in meeting above objectives. Some Azerbaijani PhDs have also joined the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy as a resident faculty.
