Irada Vahabova joined Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy as an instructor of the English Language in September 2010. 

She received her diploma as a Teacher of English and German Languages from Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages in 1996. Before joining ADA (1996-2010), she worked as a senior teacher at the Chair of English Stylistics and Art of Speech at Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages and taught Practical Course of English and Academic Writing and Reading classes there. Ms. Vahabova also worked as a teacher- trainer and a director at the Academic Writing and Reading Center of the university.

Ms. Vahabova is the author of 8 academic articles, a program on teaching Academic Writing and Reading classes at Azerbaijan University of Foreign Languages, as well as a textbook The Azerbaijani Language for foreign learners of intermediate level. She is also an editor of the textbook:  Punctuation in English (Baku, 2010).
