Each year, ADA Research Council Advisory Board identifies a set of issues to research and awards grants of up to one year in length to group of scholars who propose to investigate one or more of them.
ADA welcomes applications for short and long term grants. Preference will be given to those involving researchers from more than one country and one or more Azerbaijani researchers from ADA. No less than one-third of all grants will be awarded to Azerbaijani academics and scholars doing research at schools of academic excellence outside Azerbaijan.
ADA has launched joint research project with internationally recognized schools, hosting fellows from partner schools who will conduct research while simultaneously teaching at ADA. Complementary grants will allow Azerbaijani researchers to visit partner schools through Research and Teaching Fellowships.
ADA will publish the products of the grants, but authors will retain copyright and thus, have the possibility of publishing them elsewhere as well.
Proposals will be reviewed and decisions made by the Research Council Advisory Board on biannual basis, with the disbursement of funds to be arranged.
