The ADA PhD Fellowship is designed to support Azerbaijanis pursuing their PhD studies at recognized schools in Europe, North America and elsewhere in the world. It aims to reverse the brain drain from Azerbaijan in the fields of social sciences and humanities by attracting outstanding Azerbaijani PhDs back to the country, specifically ADA.
The fellowship is to provide some assistance to research initiatives of PhD candidates and encourage their participation at major academic conferences.

Conference Allowance
The ADA Conference Allowance is established to stimulate and support conference attendance of young Azerbaijani scholars, who are pursuing, or have recently completed their PhD studies abroad. The allowance in the amount of $500 covers the transportation and accommodation expenses of scholars who wish to present their papers at internationally recognized academic conferences but have difficulties meeting the associated expenses.
