PhD Workshop

ADA PhD Workshops are designed to provide a platform for communication, collaboration and networking among Azerbaijani PhDs, as well as between the latter and international scholars worldwide.

The workshops are intended to establish a permanent venue for academic debate at ADA where experiences and insights on research and teaching methods could be shared as part of the educational reforms being conducted in Azerbaijan. They also serve a purpose of exposing PhDs and PhD candidates to ADA.

Each year, ADA convenes two types of PhD workshops: annual workshop and interim workshops.

Annual PhD Workshop

The ADA Annual PhD Workshop gathers Azerbaijani and foreign PhDs and PhD candidates in all fields of social sciences from around the globe and is usually held in December, in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The European component of the Interim PhD Workshop is aimed to gather Azerbaijanis who are pursuing, or have recently completed, their PhDs at a recognized university in Europe and the greater Middle East and is held at a select European city.
