ADA Majlis is a series of analytical discourse, which extends one of the key missions of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA). It draws attention to Azerbaijan's emergence as a regional leader, creates a thought-provoking public forum on current global issues and their impact on Azerbaijan.

It has three components: Majlis, Global Perspectives and Friday Hearings.

Araz Azimov is the Deputy Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baku, a position he has held since 1994. He has held several positions at the Ministry.

Araz Azimov is the Deputy Foreign Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Baku, a position he has held since 1994. He has held several positions at the Ministry. He was the Director for the Department of International Organizations from 1992 to 1994; Deputy Director for the Department of Information from 1991 to 1992; First Secretary, Department of Information from 1990 to 1991 and Second Secretary for the Department of Information from 1989 to 1990.

Prior to joining the Ministry, he worked in the Foreign Service section of Azerbaijan State Radio from 1984 to 1989.

Araz Azimov was educated at the Azerbaijan State University from 1978 to 1984.
