ADA Majlis is a series of analytical discourse, which extends one of the key missions of the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA). It draws attention to Azerbaijan's emergence as a regional leader, creates a thought-provoking public forum on current global issues and their impact on Azerbaijan.

It has three components: Majlis, Global Perspectives and Friday Hearings.

Mr. Fariz Ismailzade is Executive Vice Rector at the Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy. In addition to moderating the ADA Majlis, he has also been a moderator of ADA Debates, a monthly series aimed at training debating skills.

What is Our Story and How do We Tell It?

As Azerbaijan is celebrating the 90th anniversary of its Diplomatic Service, ADA Majlis focuses on the efforts of the Azerbaijani diplomats and wider public to promote the country’s message and image abroad. “What is our story and how do we tell it?” is the main theme of the discussion. Ambassadors of Azerbaijan in European countries, students of ADA from over 20 countries and experts in the field of cultural diplomacy assess the role of public diplomacy in todays’ globalized international relations system.
