Baku, Azerbaijan - Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA) in partnership with the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) will hold its fifth Baku Summer Energy School on July 2-16.

This Summer School is designed for students, mid-level professionals in the oil and gas sectors and international affairs. SOCAR, the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Industry and Energy, the State Oil Fund, as well as representatives of foreign oil and gas companies operating in Azerbaijan will also participate in the summer school.

The experts from the Caspian countries, Rice and Texas “A & M” universities of US, leading European universities and representatives of the Nabucco project are planned to make a speech at the summer school.

Special attention will be paid to the economic and political foundations of energy policy, environmental issues and the contribution of energy wealth to regional development.
