ADA facilitates 3rd round of Jean Monnet Program (PHOTO SESSION)

Baku, Azerbaijan – Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy has started its 3rd module of Jean Monnet Program for Azerbaijani civil servants.

Initiated by the European Commission, program aims at teaching, research and reflection on processes of European integration in higher education institutions worldwide. ADA is a partner of the program in Azerbaijan.

During a four day course, led by former First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Ambassador and Dr. David Aptsiauri participants will learn mostly about Economics of European Integration. The training module includes topics such as market Integration and macroeconomic environment within the EU, current monetary, industry policies, impact of 2008 global financial crises, etc. Also, various group discussions and case studies will be held during training module. 

24 civil  servants of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population, Central Bank, Ministry of Economic Development, Council of Europe and the State Television (AZTV) have been enrolled to the program.

Two previous training modules within the Jean Monnet Program covered “History of European Integration” and “Institutions and Decision-Making Processes in the EU”.
