Baku, Azerbaijan - This time participants represent Office of the President of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Emergency Situations, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection and Baku office of the Council of Europe. The program is aimed at increasing the cooperation between various state agencies and enhancing professional skills of the public servants.
In his welcoming speech, Fariz Ismailzade, the Executive Dean of ADA, noted that AFSP is a first and one of the most successful programs of the Diplomatic Academy. Mr. Ismailzade briefed participants on the designed program and workshops they will be part of, which include international politics, economics and trade, consular affairs, public diplomacy and communication skills.
The director of AFSP, Aygun Hajiyeva, stressed the importance of English language courses for participants. She informed that intensive English language courses will last first two months followed by the tailor-made lectures for the remaining two. The speakers' list is broad, ranging from ADA faculty, senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of various government agencies and international organizations
operating in Azerbaijan.
Course participants with an outstanding performance will be awarded with an internship opportunity in the foreign missions of Azerbaijan in Europe and America.
