NewsAzerbaijan Diplomatic Academy and Geneva Centre for Security Policy Completed a Training Program for Officials from Afghanistan (PHOTO SESSION) 26 may 2011 Baku, Azerbaijan - The Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy (ADA), in collaboration with the Geneva Center for Security Policy, completed a two week-training program for officials from Afghanistan. The training program, entitled “Course on Good Governance: Managing Transitions,” involved 19 officials from Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Justice, Women Affairs, as well as from the General Prosecutor’s Office, the Parliament and the Afghan courts. The first ever graduation of MADIA 2011 students was held in historic Karvansaray complex (PHOTO SESSION). 20 may 2011 Baku, Azerbaijan – On May 20th, the first ever graduation ceremony of MADIA 2011 students took place in the historic Kicik Karvansary complex of Icheri Sahar. The ADA faculty led by Rector Hafiz Pashayev opened the ceremony. The students of MADIA 2012 class closely followed by bringing in the flags of Azerbaijan, the Czech Republic, Mexico, Russia, Kenya and Pakistan--representing all students who studied in the program--to the stage. The National Anthem of Azerbaijan was performed at the end of the ceremonial processional. 22 december 2010 Baku, Azerbaijan - In Fall of 2010, 19 civil servants have been trained within Advanced Service Program of ADA. At the graduation ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister, ADA’s Rector Hafiz Pashayev noted that training of civil servants not only helped them to enhance their professional skills but also strengthened cooperation between them. |
