School of Public and International Affairs (https://www.ada.edu.az/en/schools/spia) at ADA University invites candidates of professional and scholarly accomplishment to apply for a full-time faculty/instructor position beginning in September 2021 with primary responsibilities in the area Public Administration, specifically the ability to teach courses such as Public Administration Theory, Organizational Behavior, Public Management, Public Finance, Policy Analysis & Program Evaluation, Budgeting & Finance in Public Organizations both at graduate and undergraduate levels. We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial scholars who have a desire to work collaboratively in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Commitment to teaching excellence;
• Contributing to curriculum and program development;
• Publishing in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences;
• Collaborating with existing faculty members;
• Serving on university and school committees as needed;
• Providing students with consistent and effective support and guidance;
• Teaching 3 courses per semester (For Instructor position, 4 courses per semester);
• Participating in the life of the university and the community.

Requirements

• PhD in Public Administration (For Instructor position, Master Degree in relevant fields);
• Experience designing and teaching courses in the field of Public Administration;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English;
• Strong commitment to serving university and society.
