Department: School of Agricultural and Food Sciences (SAFS)
Brief information about the School of Agricultural and Food Science at ADA University ADA University is closely aligned with the country’s strategic vision, where the agricultural and food sectors play a pivotal role in driving the transition toward a diversified, non-oil economy. By integrating advanced technologies and innovative research, ADA University supports sustainable development and fosters modernization within these key sectors, contributing to long-term economic growth and resilience.
The School of Agricultural and Food Sciences (SAFS) is born from a partnership between ADA University and the University of Bologna, within the broader Italy-Azerbaijan University initiative. SAFS offers bachelor's, master's, and non-degree certificate programs that empower students to become changemakers in the fields of agriculture and food. Rooted in cutting-edge research and co-designed with public institutions, industry leaders, and local communities, our programs tackle the most pressing challenges of our time - from sustainable farming to global food security. Graduates will gain foundational disciplinary knowledge and practical experience - thanks to fundamental courses and the learning-by-doing educational approach.
In September 2024, SAFS opens its doors to its first cohort of students, ready to shape the future of food and agriculture.
Programs are delivered across ADA University’s vibrant Baku campus and its regional centers in Gazakh and Ganja, creating a dynamic, hands-on learning environment that connects students with real-world impact from day one.
