Book discussion of "The Nagorno-Karabakh deadlock”

ADA University brought together engaged readers by organizing a book discussion of The Nagorno-Karabakh deadlock co-authored by Azer Babayev, the Assistant Professor at the School of Public and International Affairs of ADA University, distinctive experts of the Peace Research Institute of Frankfurt Dr. Hans Joachim Spanger, and Dr. Bruno Schoch.

The authors provide a chronicle on the conflict, keep updated the readers about divergent narratives and the main driving forces of conflict, also highlight multiple factors which fundamentally affect resolution the conflict.

The book is not limited to the discussion of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, it also includes diverse perspectives of authors on different conflicts, including Åland Islands dispute, Bosnia-Herzegovina conflict, Kosova war, etc. that make the readers dive into the deep the chapters.

 
Dr. Bruno Schoch mentioned that the political determinant of the region, economic circumstances of parties, also the geostrategic position of two conflicting sides remain the conflict unsettled.

Dr. Azer Babayev touched upon the paradoxical approaches and activities of regional powers around the conflict.

"The aim of the book is to present alternative approaches to the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through the professional lens and also to provide deep insight on the conflict which attached a threat to the stability of region," added Dr.Hans Joachim Spanger.

The book is already available at ADA University library.
