Aligned with the mission of the ADA University, ADA School aspires to cultivate highly intellectual solution providers who are closely collaborating, effectively communicating members of global community with ethics and sense of citizenship. The School will welcome its first students as of Fall 2019 and will serve both local and international students in grades X and XI.
Conveniently located on ADA University campus in Baku, Azerbaijan, ADA School is the beginning of the education journey of future undergraduates and graduates. The curriculum offers breadth of knowledge in multiple disciplines combined with communication and leaderships skills much needed in XXI century. We inspire students to love learning, adopt critical thinking and develop teamwork spirit, yet be independent and formulate their own goals. With the global outlook and traditions of academic excellence of ADA University, the school alumni become competitive in admission processes to universities, whether through State Examination Center (SEC) or SAT exams.
The ADA Faculty and administrators are deeply invested in meeting and expanding the passion for education of some of the brightest high schoolers in the nation and the world. With a roster of around 40 courses plus independent study and vibrant campus life, the ADA School wishes to create an environment that prepares students for higher education and interconnected global economy.
ADA School stands as the experimental lab for the School of Education of ADA University that aims to create a continuum in student learning by better aligning school-undergraduate- graduate levels of education. Through this and other good international practices, ADA School intends to enhance the quality of education at ADA University in the first place and to contribute to the development of new trends in the national education system.
The medium of instruction at ADA School is English. For those students whose English proficiency level will be below the required one (IELTS 5.0), during the first year of study (Grade X) certain subjects will be taught in Azerbaijani language.
Admission to ADA School is a two-stage process: enrollment application review and internal interview. Committed to diversity as one of our core values, ADA School encourages applications from all corners of Azerbaijan and around the world, thus establishing cohorts who also learn from each other.
ADA School accepts applications to Grade X both to English and Azerbaijani sections and to Grade XI only to English section.
As part of your application, you will be required to submit the following documents:
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview with ADA School Admission Committee. The interview conducted in Azerbaijani or English (based on applicant’s preference) will include questions on math skills and world outlook.
Prospective students receive their admission offer based on their SEC exams for IX grade combined with interview results with ADA School Admission Committee.
ADA School charges a Flat Fee to underwrite the cost of education. The 2019-2020 tuition fee of 6,500 AZN (around 4,000 USD) does not include books and supplies, lunch, field trips or other expenses.
ADA University undergraduate admission process is highly competitive. However, ADA School alumni undergo a privileged admission process.
ADA School students participate in SEC exam to receive their official transcript about completion of XI grade. They are not further required to take SEC undergraduate level admission exam. They are admitted to ADA University undergraduate program based on their ADA School academic record (Cumulative Grade Point Average) only.
