Students always come to the classroom with their own prior experience, knowledge, values and beliefs, and together they learn to inquire and build on this knowledge to take their understanding to a higher level. I try to ensure that students have ample opportunities to do so while gaining not only sound theoretical background, but also effective practical skills.
