Bachelor of Arts in International Studies

The Bachelor of Arts in International Studies (BAIS) is a four-year multidisciplinary program that provides students with diverse skills and knowledge needed to meet the changes in societies, governments, and businesses. The curriculum of the program is designed in a way that students will learn to appreciate and understand world cultures, focus on themes of global significance, and master the varied disciplinary approaches employed to study international issues. Opportunities for graduates of the BAIS program cover a broad range of professions. The skills, broad knowledge, classic economic foundation and communications skills that International Studies majors gain in this program lead to successful careers in government, diplomacy, banking, multi-national corporations, and education.

Close to the end of their studies, students apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios by working on a Capstone project.
