
Ms. Aygun Hajiyeva oversees Executive Education programs for both Azerbaijani and foreign diplomats, as well as professionals in government and business. She leads the recruitment of qualified faculty and leadership experts while ensuring excellence in delivering executive education programs for government and business professionals.
As an educator, Ms. Hajiyeva designs and delivers Executive Education Programs to diplomats, as well as professionals in the government and business. She has trained around 2,000 professionals at various stages of their careers, ranging from junior to executive levels, across 15 government agencies and 30 business companies. Her areas of expertise include Public Diplomacy, Protocol and Etiquette, Leadership Development, Communication and Networking Skills. She delivers her courses in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian.
Ms. Hajiyeva received Certificates on “Management Development Program” by Harvard Institutes for Higher Education, “Leadership Development”, “Diplomatic Studies”, “Public Administration” and “University Administration” by the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University, USA), Indiana University (USA), Qatar Debate Academy, Clingendael Institute (Netherlands), College of Europe (Belgium) and Diplomacy Academy (Türkiye) in 2008-2016. Additionally, she participated in study programs at renowned universities like in Georgetown University, John Hopkins University, and American University in the USA, as well as Royal Norwegian Diplomatic Academy, Oxford University, the London School of Economics (LSE), London Business School in the UK, and Boğaziçi University in Türkiye. Ms. Hajiyeva holds a Master’s degree in History of International Relations from Baku State University in Azerbaijan.
Prior to joining ADA University, Ms. Hajiyeva served as the Dean of Master’s Programs and Deputy Chairman of the Faculty of Political Science and International Relations at the Western University in Azerbaijan. She also held the position of Senior Lecturer, teaching courses on the History of Diplomacy and Political History.
