Adjunct Instructor in Econometrics I

The School of Business at ADA University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Econometrics I. We seek an engaging instructor with strong expertise in econometrics and statistics, and a commitment to high-quality undergraduate teaching in an international academic environment.

Course Overview

Econometrics I introduces students to the use of statistical methods in economic analysis. The course covers regression analysis, hypothesis testing, model specification, interpretation of empirical results, and the distinction between correlation and causality. It combines theory with hands-on analysis of real-world data using econometric software such as Stata or R.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction aligned with the course syllabus and learning outcomes.
  • Integrate applied examples, real-world data, and econometric software into teaching.
  • Develop students’ analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Hold regular office hours and provide timely, constructive feedback.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year of teaching experience in higher education.
  • Experience teaching econometrics, preferably at the university level.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A strong commitment to teaching quality and student development.
