Accreditations and Rankings

ADA University is a rapidly growing institution of higher education dedicated to excellence in education and research. Since its establishment in 2006, the University relentlessly strove to improve the quality of the academic offerings and services provided to students, faculty, and the society as a whole.

National accreditation, global university rankings, and international certifications testify to the University’s pursuit of excellence. Having been re-accredited by the national accrediting agency (TKTA) in 2023/24 with the highest possible score, ADA University is currently among the top 200 institutions worldwide in the Times Higher Education “Quality Education” Rankings and the first institution to be certified as an Anthology Center of Excellence in Digital Teaching and Learning.

ADA University considers these achievements as an invitation to continue its pursuit of implementing academic goals. To underline this commitment, the University recently started the strategic initiative of becoming accredited by the internationally recognized agency QAA (The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education).

National Institutional Accreditation

ADA University is accredited by the Accreditation Council of the Ministry of Science and Education.

During the process of institutional reaccreditation in 2023, ADA University received the highest possible score (“uyğundur” / “appropriate”). Institutional reaccreditation was conducted based on the decision No KQ-05, which was approved by the Board of the Ministry of Science and Education on September 30, 2022. The reaccreditation process covered seven major criteria, namely strategic development, quality assurance, training and education, scientific research, management system, infrastructure, and internationalization.

The accreditation status was granted for 5 years.

Quality Assurance Agency

ADA University has recently started the process of institutional accreditation with QAA.

ADA University has recently passed the second stage of the QAA accreditation process (Scoping Stage) and needs to successfully complete two further stages to be granted institutional accreditation status by QAA. Seeking accreditation with QAA allows ADA University to maintain its hybrid identity – remaining true to its origins as a proud part of Azerbaijan and its rapid development, while simultaneously continuing to grow and excel as an internationally competitive and recognized institution of higher education.
