School of Public and International Affairs

The school was founded in 2009. With its rigorous curricula, diverse student body and well-rounded study programs, SPIA offers an exciting academic environment for students to develop themselves into high-impact graduates who deeply understand the importance of close collaboration and effective communication in a complex landscape of increasingly intersecting national, regional and global affairs.

The school strives to produce highly intellectual solution providers with a global perspective who will excel in various levels of governance. They will apply their acquired knowledge and skills to reach clever solutions in pursuit of public interest in an ethical and socially responsible manner.

SPIA is an affiliated member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs since 2013. APSIA brings together leading graduate schools from around the world, all which specialize in international affairs. APSIA includes member and affiliate schools in North America, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. It continues to help members transform professional education in international affairs and advance, thereby, international understanding, prosperity, peace, and security.

SPIA together with Center of Excellence in EU Studies at ADA University has been continuously involved in promoting EU related education and academic research. Quality teaching and research should emphasize the cultural value of education over its material or social value. When valued as such, education inspires lifelong intellectual curiosity and wonder in students so that they learn and appreciate knowledge as the universal currency of education and thus as an end in itself.
