The School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE) was founded in 2013. The youngest of all, the school was founded with a vision. The vision to become a center of excellence in education and a hub of scientific research and discovery of global caliber in the region. Our mission is to produce highly intellectual solution providers with innovative and creative minds and enhanced communication skills who will give back to society by finding and designing new ways in which cutting edge technology will improve lives. We strive to create a thriving environment, which encourages gender inclusivity, where education, research and industry meet and melt into practical applications through our initiatives in Big Data research, applications of Artificial Intelligence, and techno-entrepreneurship.
Our goal is that at the end of each course our students would not only say 'I know', they would also say 'I can'. We see SITE students as ambitious minds aspired to tackle global challenges, as decent citizens committed to the highest ethical standards, and as able young professionals ready to use the power of technologies for bringing solutions to real life problems. Their study programs are not only about technical knowledge and skills, they learn how to communicate efficiently, to persuade and lead others towards a common mission.
SITE’s home faculty is leading professionals who are dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching and cutting-edge research and discovery. They challenge conventional thinking and encourage students to go beyond status quo to practice innovative approaches. This, in return, creates a constant dynamic conversation on learning through experiencing. Thinking and problem-solving connect here by taking a holistic view on issues with understanding gained through knowledge across disciplines.
