School of Education

Building on teaching as a central part of ADA’s scholarly identity, the School of Education was established in 2015 as the heir of the previous School of Humanities and Sciences. Born out of the immediate need of the country to train modern educators, who, in turn, enable “educated modern citizenry”, the School pursues innovative and dynamic education programs and hands-on research in collaboration with local public school partners. Currently focused on graduate studies, the General Education segment of the curriculum for undergraduate studies, as well as the English for Academic and Professional Purposes program, the School of Education commits itself to addressing the educational needs of learners of all ages and works closely with decision and policy makers in the national education sector.

Faculty

Under the guidance of the School of Education faculty, graduate students learn from and work alongside scholars and experts who take their positions as role models seriously. Exceptional educators, they develop a deeper understanding of how to effectively teach. They do their work in a collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment that favors innovation and cooperation with all sectors of education. Our professors and instructors bring the latest advances in the social sciences, technology, and teacher preparation and are grounded in a commitment to the ADA values of academic excellence, diversity, integrity and communication.
