Adjunct Instructor of Control Engineering, School of Information Technologies and Engineering

The School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE) of ADA University invites candidates with professional and scholarly accomplishments to apply for the Adjunct Instructor position in Control Engineering for its Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering dual degree program with Politecnico di Torino in Fall 2026. We are seeking dynamic, energetic, and entrepreneurial scholars who are eager to work collaboratively in an international environment. The selected faculty member will be expected to teach undergraduate students, with salary contingent upon qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Commitment to teaching and mentoring undergraduate students;
  • The teaching workload is 6 ECTS during the Fall 2026 semester and over 8 weeks (last 8 weeks of the semester)
  • Meeting all scheduled classes/labs and providing instruction in accordance with objectives of the approved course outline; 
  • Designing courses, developing syllabi and instructional materials to ensure compliance with the SITE curriculum requirements and guidelines; 
  • Using the university’s student information system and learning management system;
  • Providing quality instruction including stimulating analytical and critical thinking;
  • Providing meaningful and timely feedback on student assignments, hold regular office hours;
  • Maintaining continuous communication with the partner from politecnico di torino to ensure the success of the program;
  • Providing exemplary service to the university and community.

Required Qualifications

  • PhD or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or other related fields from an accredited institution;
  • Experience in designing and teaching control engineering courses in the degree program;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English;
  • At least 1 year of teaching experience at an accredited institution;
  • Strong commitment to serving the university and society.
