The School of Business at ADA University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach Global Corporate Strategy in the MBA program. We are looking for an instructor with a strong background in strategic management and an interest in case-based, applied teaching.

This is a part-time adjunct position intended for candidates based in Azerbaijan who are available to teach in the evenings and/or on weekends.

Course Overview

The course focuses on strategy formulation and execution in a global business environment. It covers industry and competitive analysis, value creation and capture, differentiation, strategic resources and competitive advantage, and business- & corporate-level strategy. Cases and real-world examples are an important part of the course.

Main Responsibilities

• Teach the course in line with the syllabus and learning outcomes.
• Lead case discussions and connect strategy frameworks to business decisions.
• Prepare and grade course assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Hold office hours and provide appropriate academic support to students.
• Use up-to-date academic books and other relevant course materials.

Qualifications

• A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Strategy, Management, International Business, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• At least one year of teaching experience in higher education.
• Experience teaching strategic management or a related course; graduate or MBA-level teaching experience is preferred.
• Relevant corporate, consulting, or strategy experience is an advantage.
• Proficiency in English.
