Master of Science in Human Resource Management (HRM)

The School of Business at ADA University invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach International HR Management in the HRM program. We are looking for an instructor with strong knowledge of HRM theories and international HR practices and an interest in applied, discussion-based teaching.
This is a part-time adjunct position intended for candidates based in Azerbaijan who are available to teach in the evenings and/or on weekends.
Course Overview
The course examines human resource management across countries and cultures. Topics include global staffing and recruitment, training and development, performance management, compensation, international mobility, diversity, cross-cultural issues, technology, and current developments in HRM.
Main Responsibilities
- Teach the course in line with the syllabus and learning outcomes.
- Use cases and examples from international and local HR practice.
- Prepare and grade course assessments and provide timely feedback.
- Hold office hours and provide appropriate academic support to students.
- Use up-to-date academic books and other relevant course materials.
Qualifications
- A Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Organizational Behavior, Business, or a related field.
- At least one year of teaching experience in higher education.
- Experience teaching HRM or a related course; graduate-level teaching experience is preferred.
- Relevant professional experience in HR is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English.
