Senior Specialist, Regional Centers

Position summary

Senior Specialist, Regional Centers assists and supports the Vice Rector of Strategy and Advancement in the planning, operational monitoring, and implementation of existing and upcoming regional programs.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling of activities across ADA Regional Centers to prevent time conflicts and ensure efficient program delivery.
  • Work closely with ADA Gazakh Center staff to plan and coordinate the execution of programs, events, and activities in alignment with institutional goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and communication liaison between ADA Regional Centers and ADA Baku Campus, ensuring alignment, timely information flow, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the yearly and semester-based operational plans related to regional programs and activities.
  • Track implementation status and report on the progress of ongoing regional projects and initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support market assessments and feasibility studies for potential new programs in the regions; prepare reports to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating annual performance review processes for ADA Gazakh Center staff, in line with university policy and timelines.
  • Organize and lead regular coordination meetings; prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely execution and accountability.
  • Assist in the development, monitoring, and management of the ADA Gazakh Center budget,
  • Compile and prepare all necessary documentation and supporting materials for funding proposals, grant applications, and periodic reporting, in close coordination with relevant units.
  • Represent ADA Regional Centers within ADA University’s academic and administrative structures, facilitating clear communication, visibility, and integration across the institution.

Requirements:

  • Higher education in the related fields is desired (ex: Education, Management, Project Management, and other related fields); 
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience of project/program management;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Possess strong communication abilities, and good team work;
  • Independent user of MS office programs (Advanced Excel skills);
  • Fluency in Azerbaijani and English is a must. Knowledge of Russian is a plus;
  • Open-minded and friendly with readiness to learn and adjust to frequent changes;
  • Flexible, creative with an innovative mindset.
