Bachelor in Urban Planning
In the current context of planetary urbanization, Urban Planning aims to improve the quality of spaces in the cities and regions where we live and to increase the well-being and the quality of life for their inhabitants and city users, by defining and implementing spatial visions, scenarios, plans, and projects at the multiple scales of urban, rural and landscape areas.
The Educational Program in Urban Planning at ADA University aims to introduce and prepare students for Urban Planning, mixing theoretical and practical knowledge. It seeks to enable students (as future professionals) to think critically about urban and territorial issues by learning spatial planning theories, methods, and techniques. It also aims to help them to interpret, assess, and manage the transformation of contemporary spaces and societies through a design approach applied to the urban and territorial scales, combining a humanistic knowledge with a solid technical-scientific base.
The Educational Program in Urban Planning provides multiple and multifaceted career opportunities: ranging from access masters in Urban, Regional, and Landscape Planning and Design, to public institutions, research centers, professional studios, private operators, as well as cultural associations and organizations.
