Description

ADA University is inviting applications for a visiting lecturer position for the Fall 2024 semester (September-December), with the possibility of an extension. This fellowship is offered in collaboration with the MEDIA Development Agency of Azerbaijan and is part of its efforts to bring media education in the country in line with international industry standards. This presents an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals who are passionate about teaching and innovation in the fields of communication and digital media. The successful candidate will be expected to teach within this specialization, with no research obligations required.

The selected candidate will receive a monthly stipend of $2,000, along with additional benefits that include round-trip economy class airfare and housing.

Responsibilities

• Teach two courses in the designated field during the Fall 2024 semester.
• Facilitate a training program for media representatives and PR managers.
• Offer one open lecture to students from other Azerbaijani universities as required.

Requirements

• M.A. in a related field from an accredited institution; a Ph.D. is preferred.
• Experience in designing and teaching courses.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Strong commitment to serving the university and community.
