VISITING RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP

Description

ADA University welcomes applications for visiting research fellowship position in the field of International Affairs, Public Administration, Business and Economics, Education and Education Management, Computer Engineering and Information Technologies. The duration of visits usually varies from 4 months to a year. Shorter visits can also be considered with prior agreement of conditions. During fellowship, visiting research fellows work on their research projects, preferably in collaboration with a scholar from ADA  University. Apart from research activity, visiting research fellow is expected 1) to teach at least  one class per semester in his/her area of expertise; 2) to deliver at least two masterclasses, workshops or seminars for general public.

Visiting research fellows are compensated based on the experience and seniority of applicants. Meanwhile, they can use the following facilities during their visit:

  • access to the University Library and its collections ;
  • participation in activities, events and seminars organized by ADA and its research centers.
  • workspace and access to a desktop.

 

Responsibilities

  • Fulfil the agreed teaching load including masterclasses, workshops or seminars;
  • Provide service to the department, university and/or community, through committee involvement, volunteerism, task forces or other;
  • Engage in research.

Requirements

  • PhD degree or advanced Ph.D. candidacy in required area;
  • Experience in designing and teaching courses;
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English
  • Strong commitment to serving university and society
