Associate Vice-Rector for Student Services and Alumni Affairs honoured at APCDA Conference in Vietnam

Career Management Center (CMC) supports the professional development of ADA University students with industry-related and hands-on skill set by offering diverse internship and employment opportunities in the competitive job market. The exceptional contributions of CMC staff members toward reinforcing the students as tomorrow’s professionals earn international recognition.
Ms. Gulnur Ismayil, Associate Vice-Rector for Student Services and Alumni Affairs of ADA University was distinguished with the ‘Outstanding Career Practitioner Award’ in Vietnam by the Asia Pacific Career Development Association (APCDA).
APCDA is a forum which creates a hub for encouraging career practitioners to conduct theory-based and research-driven career development services.
Ms. Ismayil was honoured for being awarded by the Governing body of APCDA in recognition for the establishment of the ADA University Career Management Center. The awarding ceremony held in May at RMIT University of Vietnam with the presence of more than 200 career counsellors, educators and talent development professionals from more than 20 countries around the world.
“As a professional career practitioner and former director of the ADA University Career Management Center, I am deeply honoured to be acknowledged and receive this Award. Establishment of an exemplary Career Center at ADA has triggered the development of career services across many higher educational institutions in the country, and also enabled us to share our best practices, establish a collaborative approach to youth career development locally and internationally. We are yet at the beginning of the mission and I wish CMC team progressing in its further development to ensure efficient service to our students and alumni. ” said Gulnur Ismayil.​
We hope that this esteemed award will be a stimulus for the CMC team for supporting ADA students in their future professional endeavours.
