ADA University Alumni Forum started today

ADA University in partnership with the “PWC” Azerbaijan started to host Alumni Forum under the motto “Industry 4.0: Going Digital” on July 5, 2019.

The Alumni Forum brought together ADA alumni, current students, faculty members, representatives from public-private institutions, and industry to examine the incontestable impacts of digitalization on local and international governances, diplomacy, human capital, and economic development.

Delivering an introductory speech, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev stated:

“More than 1300 students from 44 countries graduated from ADA University since its inception. Having beaconed ADA values as a part of their professional and personal life, our alumni spread across the world. Hence, we represent not only ADA University per se, but we also stand for Azerbaijan in the global arena”.

The outstanding Academician Roald Sagdeev esteemed ADA people as an added value of the university while stressing the importance of the establishment of Alumni Association in his remarks about the historical tracks of digitalization on academia. Academician Sagdeev transformed the most recent and popular scenarios generated by futurologists on the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on nations, and also revealed the political results of AI application through the lens of national security.

In the framework of the Forum, ADA University will announce the establishment of the “ADA University Alumni Association” to start a tradition to foster face-to-face interaction amongst ADA people to strengthen the university’s network and knowledge sharing.
