As part of the Italy–Azerbaijan University initiative led by ADA University, the Dean of the School of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Prof. Matteo Vittuari, together with faculty members and students, visited the Absheron Olive Garden.
The purpose of the visit was to enhance students’ knowledge and skills by engaging directly with professionals in the field, familiarize them with real-world work environments. In addition, during visit, students with outstanding academic performance were recognized with the Academic Excellence Certificate. This initiative aligns with the learning objectives of the School’s Master’s program in Management of Agriculture and Food Systems, as well as the Bachelor’s programs in Food Technologies and Agricultural Technologies.
During the visit, industry experts provided detailed insights into production processes, while students observed modern and innovative equipment used in the company’s operations.
Such visits play a crucial role in ensuring that students gain hands-on experience in leading Azerbaijani enterprises, deepen their practical knowledge, and prepare for successful careers in innovative and dynamic sectors.
