ADA University commemorated the victims of Khojaly genocide

Today ADA University hosted a commemorative event to the honorable memory of victims who were brutally murdered, the residents who were taken hostages in Khojaly genocide.

The event was started with the drama performance of ADA University’s “Milli Club” members and ADA School students. Their performance depicted how innocent civilians faced with unprecedented atrocities in Khojaly.

After the performance of students, Thomas Goltz, the famous American analyst talked about the main 'whys' behind the Khojaly massacre. The faculty and staff members, guests, students, and alumni watched a short video based on the personal archive materials of Mr. Goltz.

One of the witnesses of Khojaly genocide, Murad Maharramov shared the painful stories of Khojaly residents under the blockade.
The commemorative ceremony was concluded by the poetry performance of ADA School students.

As a part of the commemoration ceremony, ADA University and ADA School students conducted a flash mob dedicated to Khojaly, took a moment of silence to pay their respects.
