We are delighted to share the outstanding achievement of our ADA University team in the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) for University Students 2023 held in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria.
From July 31st to August 6th, 2023, a team of five students led by ADA University Professor Yagub Aliyev, participated in this competition. Our team proudly represented Azerbaijan as one of the two teams from our country, competing against 100 teams from around the world. Rustam Tahmazov secured a Bronze medal and Nihat Mammadli earned an Honorary Mention, showcasing their mathematical skills on the global stage.
In light of this remarkable achievement, we are excited to share that a new "Competitive Mathematics" course will be taught for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students in the upcoming spring semester. This innovative course will foster a deeper understanding of mathematical challenges and strategies
