ADA University, Baku Education Information Center(BEIC), Ultra Technologies jointly organize the VIII English language Olympiad for Academic Purposes among 8th and 9th-grade students. The event is also supported by the Ministry of Science and Education. 

The English Language Olympiad is conducted annually to encourage 8^th and 9^th-grade students to develop and demonstrate excellence in English language. It aims to identify students who exhibit exceptional language skills beyond the school curriculum.

Registering on the Olympiad webpage Does Not automatically register you for the Olympiad itself. After registration, to get the Entry ticket the participants are required to pay the participation fee of 15 manats.

The number of places is limited. Registration will be open to the first 1900 applicants. 

Although the registration deadline is set for March 31, registration will automatically close once the first 1900 candidates have applied.

• Registration starts: February 23, 2026
• Registration finishes: March 31, 2026

Stages

• Stage 1(50 questions on Grammar and Reading): April 19, 2026

Venues:

1. In Baku, at ADA University;

2. In Ganja, at Secondary School No. 24; 

3. In Nakhchivan, at Secondary School No.1 ;

4. In Lankaran, Haftoni secondary school named after S.Aliyev;

• Announcement of Stage 1 results: April 23, 2026 (First 120 high scorers will be invited to Stage 2)
• Stage 2 (Listening and Writing): April 25, 2026
• Stage 3 (Interview): May 7-8, 2026  (For selected candidates only)

Note: All 120 top scorers will be invited to the Awarding Ceremony at ADA University and the first 300 top scorers will get certificates.
