On October 23, ADA University hosted the 13th International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT 2019) dedicated to the heritage of world-renowned Azerbaijani scientist Lotfi Zadeh.
The event was started with a welcoming remark delivered by Rector of ADA University, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev.
Ambassador Pashayev talked about the role of the School of Information Technologies and Engineering of ADA University and informed the guests about the "Lotfi Zadeh" scholarship, which is granted to the well-performed SITE students upon their academic accomplishments.
"Today we brought together well-known faces of academia and experienced professionals from more than 20 countries to speak about the role of ICT in business, industry, science, social and medical spheres, and administration," mentioned Ambassador Pashayev.
Professor Rasim Aliguliyev, Vice- president of ANAS, Director of Institute of Information Technology mentioned: "It is an immense pleasure for us to dedicate this prestigious conference to the honorable memory and heritage of prominent Azerbaijani scientist Lotfi Zadeh, who proudly served to the international community."
Professor Rasim Aliguliyev assured the guests that Azerbaijan will be the driving force of smart technologies and intellectual cyber systems in the coming years.
