ADA University jointly held online Forum with Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan MFA

On May 22, 2020, ADA University, in cooperation with the International Relations Institute of Turkmenistan Ministry of Foreign Affairs held online Forum.

The virtual Forum moderated by Fariz Ismayilzade, ADA University Executive Vice-Rector, was held with participation of representatives of Embassy of Turkmenistan in Azerbaijan, students and faculty members of ADA University and Turkmenistan Institute of International Relations.

"Both countries demonstrate mutual support on various international platforms and ADA University is holding the first online forum with the Turkmenistan Institute of International Relations," ​​said Vice-Rector Ismayilzade, referring to the friendly relations between two countries.

"There are many areas of research," Anar Valiyev, dean of School of Public and International Affairs (ADA University) said while talking about prospective Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan cooperation in education sphere and the role of ADA University on sharing knowledge.

The representative of the Turkmenistan Institute of International Relations recalled the meetings held with ADA University faculty members.

The priority areas of Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan cooperation particularly in transport, tourism, energy sectors, the rising role of both countries in the context of the ''East-West Transport corridor'' as well as Turkmenistan's current relations with China and Russia in the light of the growing position of Central Asia international arena were among the discussed topics of webinar.
