The briefing was followed by the distinguished presence of Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the First Vice-President Elchin Amirbayov and the Chief of the International Military Cooperation Department of Ministry of Defense Major General Huseyn Mahmudov.
Before giving a floor to the keynote speakers, the guests of diplomatic corps watched the video footage that demonstrated purported missile attack on Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan and Armenia's violation of the humanitarian ceasefire.
“The US has already declared that currently the territory of Azerbaijan is a place where terrorist threat may emerge,” said Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hikmet Hajiyev.
