The concert of the Baku Chamber Orchestra was held at ADA University

On September 26, a concert of the Baku Chamber Orchestra was held at ADA University within the framework of the XV Uzeyir Hajibeyli International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, and the University.

A few days ago, ADA University, an educational innovator, informed the students about the event that will be held as part of the festival:"Feel the profound impact of musical masterpieces composed by Uzeyir Hajibeyli, a prominent composer and “the father of Azerbaijani classical music".

Before the teaching staff and students of the University, the Baku Chamber Orchestra, Atash Garayev (vocal), Arzu Aliyeva (singer), and Emil Baghirov (clarinet) performed under the direction of the young and talented conductor Mustafa Mehmandarov.

Gara Garayev's "Funeral Ode" was performed for our Karabakh martyrs.

Uzeyir Hajibeyli's "Ashigsayagi", "Sevgili canan", Niyazi's "Laylay", A. Alizade's "Cangi", A. Malikov's "Nocturne", G. Garayev's "Two Dances" were presented in the program. The concert program ended with F. Amirov's "Nizami" symphony.

Shabnam Maharramova, Manager of Public Relations, Communications and Digital content mentioned that the concert was attended by students, distinguished representatives from various institutions, and individuals with a shared passion for music.

It should be noted that the 15th Uzeyir Hajibeyli International Music Festival, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 28.
