ADA University co-organized the 19th IEEE International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT2025)

ADA University co-organized another edition of the international event — the 19th IEEE International Conference on Application of Information and Communication Technologies (AICT2025), held on 29–31 October in Al-Ain, United Arab Emirates, and hosted by the country’s largest university — United Arab Emirates University.

AICT2025 was co-organized by ADA University, United Arab Emirates University, Politecnico di Torino, and The George Washington University, with the support of the IEEE UAE Section and the IEEE Azerbaijan Chapter. The conference was endorsed and technically supported by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) — the world’s largest technical professional association with over 500,000 members globally, dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity, headquartered in New York City.

AICT2025 featured Keynote Speeches and Technical Sessions that brought together scientists and researchers from 19 countries.

During the technical sessions, participants presented their papers under the following tracks:

  • Data Science and Advanced Analytics
  • Machine Learning and Other AI Techniques
  • Software Engineering
  • Cyber Security and Best Practices
  • Emerging Trends and Technologies in ICT Applications
  • Communication, Networks, and Hardware
  • Signal Processing
  • ICT in Education, Business Administration, Governance, Finance, and Economy
  • ICT in Medicine and Health Care

Out of 150 papers submitted by authors from 27 countries, 74 were accepted, including 12 papers by ADA University’s faculty and students, which were presented and will be included in the conference proceedings. The Best Paper Award was also won by a graduate of ADA University’s School of Information Technologies and Engineering (SITE) Suleyman Mammadov.

All accepted papers, reviewed by an international peer-review committee consisting of more than 60 academics, researchers, and industry experts from 24 countries, will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and indexed in major academic databases, including Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, Google Scholar, and others.

The next 20th Anniversary AICT2026 International Conference is planned to be held on 14–16 October 2026, returning to Baku, and will be hosted by ADA University.
