Our students, Aydan Mammadzada and Huseyn Balaoghlanov, secured Azerbaijan's second victory in the IMF Fund Challenge 2023, repeating the University's success from 2019.

Aydan and Huseyn, with the academic guidance provided by Vice Rector of Academic Affairs Dr. Elkin Nurmammadov and support from Dean of the School of Business Huseyn Ismayilov, represented ADA University in the Challenge, bringing together 600+ participants across the world.

Our students came together to build their team, the "Children of Adam," and after that, a very intensive preparation started for them. They enrolled in ICD’s online Macroeconomic Diagnostics course to back themselves up with strong theoretical knowledge and practical tools that economists use to assess the economic status of various countries. As a result of their hard work, they earned the right to compete in the semi-finals.

In the semi-final round, the team competed against 142 students, presenting their policy recommendations for the Brazilian economy.

At the final event, our team members presented their case study to three IMF directors and an audience comprised of international experts.

Congratulations to the students on their success, and a round of applause to them for making ADA University feel proud.
